I share these examples and could share many more because there are real challenges worldwide and right here in the US. We need the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives to overcome and be a true light and witness in this dark and troubled world.

Pentecost: Unity Amid Differences
Pentecost means there is a way to be brought together around the person of Jesus, the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and the love of our Father in heaven. It means we can worship and fellowship with those different than us. You cannot choose your family. And neither can you choose your brothers and sisters in Christ. Pentecost Insights
Pentecost: The descent of the Spirit of God on the people of God to make real the reality of God. When the Spirit comes he comes with power and gentleness. When the Spirit comes he fills us with a sense of the Divine Presence of God inwardly and externally. When the Spirit comes, it is heaven interacting with earth. When the Spirit comes, there is a passion and fire that rests on and fills God’s people to declare his glory to all people. When the Spirit comes he disrupts our lives and transforms our lives. When the Spirit comes, he fills us with the reality of God and sends us out to take that reality to others.
Dreams and VisionsĀ
When we begin to delight ourselves in God and his heart becomes our heart; when our prayers align with his will and He pours out His Spirit upon us and shows us what He has in mind for us, amazing things begin to happen! God calls us to good works done in His Name, by His power, just as Jesus went around doing good where there was need and his Father was working. And this can happen to any of us and all of us!
